Homemade Granola

Homemade Granola (serving size: 2 tbsp.)

2 cups raw, whole rolled oats

1/2 cup chopped raw nuts

1/2 cup raw seeds (they can be sunflower or pumpkin seeds)

1/2 cup unsweetened chopped dried fruit (can use mixed fruits)

2-3 tablespoons maple syrup

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch fine sea salt

 

Preheat an oven to 300 F.

In a mixing bowl add all the ingredients and mix until it is all coated with the maple syrup.

Spread the mixture in a thin layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake

For 10 – 13 minutes, until very lightly toasted. Check after 10 minutes to make sure the granola doesn’t burn.
